Community Development Mini-Grants
Applicants selected for Community Development Mini-Grant STEP 2: First 5 Imperial has allocated $150,000 for the purpose of awarding a number of mini-grant projects for funding for fiscal year 2023-2024. The maximum award is $25,000 for individual applicat
ions. The course of action entails a two-step process, where potential applicants submit a Statement of Interest to Apply form under Step 1 of this process. The Commission selects applicants submitting Statement of Interest to Apply forms for Step 2, thus inviting selected applicants to apply by completing and submitting a full Community Development Mini-grant Application. On April 6, 2023, at the Regular Meeting of the Commission, members moved to invite 8 agencies that submitted a Statement of Interest to Apply form to continue on to Step 2 of the process, and therefore were invited to submit a proposal to compete for a Community Development Mini-Grant award for the 2023-2024 funding cycle. Step 2 proposals are due by May 10, 2023. Step 2 applicants can download copies of the application guidelines and relevant forms by clicking on the following links:

Mini-Grant Step 2 Application Deadline: May 10, 2023. Applications must submitted to the following address: Imperial County Purchasing, Attn: First 5 Imperial, 1125 W. Main Street, El Centro, CA 92243, by 4:00 pm on May 10, 2023.
