Proposition 10

On November 1998, California voters passed the California Children and Families Act of 1998. The act levies a tax on cigarettes and other tobacco products with the intent to provide funding for early childhood development programs, in addition to establishing a State Commission and local County Commissions for this purpose.

Community Development Mini-Grants

BabywHat2Funding Opportunity Now Open: The Imperial County Children and Families First Commission currently has a mini-grant funding opportunity available for organizations interested in applying for projects that propose to offer meaningful services to children 0-5 years of age and their families over the course of one year for fiscal year 2016-2017. Applicants may be awarded up to $25,000 by the Commission.
